FI SWISSLION LLC Skopje is a proud member of the SWISSLION TAKOVO Group, which is one of the biggest and most renowned food and drinks producer in Southeastern Europe.
In 1998, FI SWISSLION LLC Skopje begins with work, first as general distributer and then as a production facility through a “Green field” investment.
In 2001, with the goal of achieving maximum productivity and effectiveness, the company split into SWISSLION LLC Skopje, a company for production of confectionery products and SWISSLION MAK LLC Skopje, a company for wholesale and retail and distribution of the complete assortment of SWISSLION Group.
In 2005, SWISSLION DOO Skopje extended its business with a new production line for salty snacks and in 2006, becomes a majority shareholder of AGROPLOD JSC Resen. A complete revitalization and modernization was made in the factory with a wide range of well-established brands. In 2011, SWISSLION LLC continued with its development plans and made an investment in a new substation and a production line for dragees.
Ever since the ownership in AGROPLOD JSC was finally determined in 2012, SWISSLION LLC has all the conditions for development and growth. Currently, Swisslion in North Macedonia has 4 legal entities:
- FI SWISSLION LLC Skopje – sale of confectionery products
- SWISSLION AGROPLOD DOOEL Resen- production of confectionery products
- SWISSLION AGRAR DOOEL Resen- egg production
- AGROPLOD JSC Resen- agriculture
